Step 2: Configure the Data Source

Click Reporting in the left menu for your report.

Data Source Tab

Data source type: Script File

Database Connection: db-northwind-olap-duckdb

Script name: piv-sales-country-year-duckdb-script.groovy

Note: The script file is a placeholder — for DuckDB pivot tables, the data is read directly from the view specified in the pivot configuration (Step 3). The script is not executed.

Output Tab

Output type: None

Pivot tables generate their own interactive HTML output, so no separate output template is needed.

Save the configuration. Next we'll configure the actual pivot table dimensions!
